Distress Oxides with Stencils

Today I am pleased to offer you a VIDEO tutorial. The tutorial shows you how to use Ranger/Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks as a background, with a stencil layered over the top.

The Distress Oxide Inks came into the Technique Junkies store at the end of last week, then just as quickly disappeared. I do have a small number of them left, and anticipate getting more in 14-21 days. As a consolation, I am offering all 12 of the inks as a pre-order for $62.00, roughly 15% off the normal retail price.

Simply add them to your cart, as they come into the store, I will be mailing them immediately. In the meantime, the video below shows you how create a multi-colored Distress Oxide background with a Stencil layered over the top. This was over stamped and matted for a finished card.

Here are the stamps and stencil I am using today:
Rain Dance Girl
Dance in the Rain
Zen Doodle Stencil

The first picture above shows the oxides, stencils and stamps, but doesn't really show the shimmer of this peace. This shows it a bit better:
The video below shows howto make the card. Because this is the first video I have produced in a really long time, I ask for your forgiveness on it's awkward qualities! Thanks for watching.

I hope you are a little inkspired by today's issue. See you next week!
